If you haven’t heard of the London based AllBright Academy yet then you need to take a look.
Under the parent platform – AllBright – a networking organisation for working women in the UK, the AllBright Academy delivers courses to support and promote innovative female entrepreneurs.
Founded in 2016 by Debbie Wosskow OBE (Founder of LoveHomeSwap) and Anna Jones (Former CEO of Hearst), AllBright was set up to support women at all stages of their careers, with a particular focus on skills, start-ups, and space – which is offered through their private members club.
At the heart of AllBright is the Academy, now in its second year. The AllBright Academy provides participants with access and connections to world-class experts and coaches as well as an in-depth, practical library of digital content. They boast of having over 100 women in their alumni who are there to support members.
The AllBright team are looking for 6-8 female founders with early-stage start-ups to pitch to a panel of experts, and in front of an audience of investors, angels, and members of The AllBright.
The Academy have just released details of their next Pitch Day, which will happen on 22nd May at AllBright headquarters in London.
The AllBright team are looking for “6-8 female founders with early-stage start-ups to pitch to our panel of experts, and in front of an audience of investors, angels, and members of The AllBright. We welcome applications from female founded or (male or female) co-founded companies and are looking for businesses from a variety of industries.
We’re looking primarily for businesses that are at MVP stage and beyond. This typically means you’ve had less than £0.5m of investment committed, a business that’s up and running with some sales / traction and some experience at pitching to investors. (However, there are always exceptions to every rule).”
