Top 10 Cities to Earn More and Work Less
It may not feel like it, but Dublin and London have both ranked in the top 10 of best cities for millennials to earn more and work less.
According to a report by Expert Market, Dublin ranks in 8th place with London coming in 10th in a list of 69 key economic cities worldwide.
Luxembourg, the pint-sized city state that gives all its citizens universal free healthcare, took the top spot. The average employee earns $4,491.50 per month for just 142 hours worked. That translates to an hourly wage of roughly $31.63.
With an enviable 32 days of paid leave per year, it’s no surprise residents regularly score well in the World Happiness Index.
Munich and Paris round out the top three, with both European cities offering an exceptional work-life balance for ambitious earners. All of the top ten cities are in Europe, with Jakarta and Bangkok at the bottom of the list.
The average Dublin based millennial earns approx €2,201 per month for 147 hours worked, giving an average hourly wage of €15.
